Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Lake Forest women's hockey team scored three goals in the third period on Friday afternoon en route to a 4-1 win over St. Scholastica at Mars Lakeview Arena.

Two of the third period goals were empty-netters in the final minute, making the final score more one-sided than the game would have otherwise been.

Monika Waidacher scored the lone goal for St. Scholastica, and Teraysa White finished with 28 saves for the Saints in the losing effort.

St. Scholastica is now (9-6-3) overall this 2012-13 season and (6-5-2) in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA).
