Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Junior midfielder Joe Watt scored a penalty kick in the 79th minute to give the St. Scholastica men's soccer team a 1-0 win over Macalaster on Saturday.

The Saints were outshot in the game 8-6, but junior goalkeeper Adam Hewitt made four saves to help St. Scholastica earn its first win of the 2012 season.

The game was delayed significantly in the second half due to an injury to a Macalaster player, but he was eventually able to leave the field under his own power.

St. Scholastica is now (1-1) this season and will next be in action on September 7 against Concordia-Moorhead.
