  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica junior thrower Becky Huberty has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) athlete of the week, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

• CSS' Waidacher, Blair are AHCA All-Americans

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica's Nina Waidacher has been named to the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American West first team, and teammate Alex Blair earned second team honors, it was announced on Thursday night.

• Saints' Huberty 14th at NCAA Indoor 'Ships

  Naperville, Ill. (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica junior Becky Huberty placed 14th in the women's weight throw on Friday as part of the NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships in Naperville, Ill.

• Saints Duo Each 39th at NCAA Skiing 'Ships

  Ripton, VT (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica senior Jeremy Hecker and sophomore Sharmila Ahmed each did something on Thursday no other Saints skier had ever done, and each finished 39th in the first race of the 2013 NCAA Division III cross country skiing championships at the Rikert Nordic Center in Ripton, Vt.

• UMD's Newman, Sygulla Earn All-NSIC Honors

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMD) junior Katrina Newman and senior Kaiya Sygulla have each been honored by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), it was announced on Tuesday.

• CSS' Huberty Throws Her Way to Nationals

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- St. Scholastica's Becky Huberty will compete this year in the women's weight throw at the NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships, which are set to be held March 8-9 in Naperville, Ill.

• Saints Fall in First-Ever NCAA Tourney Contest

  Mount Vernon, IA (NNCNOW.com) --- Danica Schellbach scored a team-high 19 points on Friday night, but she and the St. Scholastica women's basketball team fell 76-54 to Cornell (Iowa) in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament.

• Dodge Scores, Saints Fall in NCHA Semifinals

  De Pere, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth, Minn. native Gina Dodge scored her team's lone goal on Friday afternoon, but she and the St. Scholastica women's hockey team fell 2-1 to #9-ranked St. Norbert in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) O'Brien Cup semifinals.

• Johnson, Ohaju, Huberty Lead All-UMAC Picks

  Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The St. Scholastica men's and women's indoor track and field teams each won a fourth consecutive Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship this past weekend, and on Thursday 35 athletes were named to the all-UMAC squad.
