Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth East boy's hockey team remained unbeaten this season on Friday night with a 6-3 win over White Bear Lake at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth.
The Greyhounds, ranked #1 in the state at Class AA, fell behind 1-0 early in the first, but was able to tie the game headed to the first intermission.
Last year's state runners-up then scored three second period goals to take control of the game, going into the second intermission up by a 4-2 score.
The win marks the Greyhounds' fifth win of the 2011-12 season as they continue to play at a high level early in the year.
