#2 Spartans Downed in State Quarters by #1 Tritons

Madison, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The #2-ranked Superior boy's hockey team saw its season end Thursday in the WIAA state quarterfinals, falling 5-1 to #1-ranked Notre Dame Academy.

Daniel Litchke scored the only goal of the game for the Spartans, and Scott Crawford made 20 saves in the losing effort.

Superior ends the season with a (15-10-1) overall record.
