Milwaukee, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Ashland girls' soccer team played Mount Horeb to a 0-0 draw through regulation and two overtimes on Thursday night at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee, Wis., but the Vikings scored every kick in the shootout to advance to Saturday's WIAA Division 3 championship game.

Mollie Richardson made six saves in the contest, including a spectacular stop from close range in overtime, but she failed to make a stop in the penalty shootout for the Oredockers.

Ashland, which was making its second straight and third overall appearance at state, finishes the year with an overall record of (19-2-3).
