(NNCNOW.com) --- In two battles involving highly-ranked boys' hockey teams from Minnesota, it was the visitors in both contests, No. 4-ranked Blaine and No. 2-ranked Hermantown, leaving with a win on Tuesday night.

Blaine used two goals each from Tyler Cline and Brandon Notermann to beat No. 9-ranked Duluth East 5-2, handing the Greyhounds just that team's fourth loss of the season.

Hermantown, meanwhile, scored four goals in the first period on Tuesday night and cruised to an 8-2 win over Superior to extend the Hawks' current winning streak to four games.
