Hibbing, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Lakeview Christian Academy senior Anders Broman scored 42 points in a 100-87 win on Thursday night, setting a new Minnesota all-time career scoring mark in the process.
Broman entered the game needing just seven points to take over the record from Kevin Noreen, who finished his high school career with 4,086 points.
The record-setting shot came early in the first half on a jumper from the right elbow, with the assist going to Anders' younger brother, Bjorn.
In addition to his 42 points, Broman finished with 11 rebounds, eight assists, and six steals in the win for the #6-ranked Lions.
Bjorn Broman also had a double-double in the contest, finishing with 25 points, 10 assists, and seven steals for Lakeview Christian Academy.
