Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys' hockey team could not overcome a slow start on Saturday night and ended up falling 3-2 to Rosemount in the championship game of the Heritage Holiday Classic hosted by Duluth Denfeld.

Rosemount scored three goals on its first five shots in the first period, but the Lumberjacks buckled down from there and had several chances to tie the game in the third period.

Cloquet-Esko-Carlton is now (4-7-1) this season, while Rosemount improves to (4-7-0) with the win.
