Chisholm's Culbert Crowned State Champion

St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Chisholm sophomore Jaustin Culbert ousted Jordan Feder to win the boys' MSHSL Class A high jump state championship on Saturday afternoon at Hamline University in St. Paul at the final day of the state track and field meet.

Culbert finished with a jump of 6-08 while Feder was the runner-up at 6-07.

Other notable finishers from the Northland included Paul Meloche of Mesabi East who came in second in the boys' 110m hurdles.

On the girls' side, Kailee Kiminski of Esko came in seventh in the 1600m run with Proctor eighth-grader Hannah Bettendorf in 13th place.
