Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Esko boys' basketball senior Kory Deadrick scored 31 points and broke the school's 59-year-old scoring record of 1,515 points as the Eskomos routed Floodwood 80-39 on Thursday night.

Deadrick surpassed the mark as the No. 3 Eskomos got back on track after dropping two in a row last week. With the win, Esko improves to (13-3) while the Polar Bears fall to (12-5).

The previous Eskomos scoring record was set by Harold Bergstedt in 1955.
