Tom Whiting pitched a shutout in the contest, making three saves to help his team earn a spot in the state championship game.

Ashland is now (26-1) this season and will take on Notre Dame in the WIAA Division 3 championship, with that match set to start at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee, Wis.
