Drummond Boys' Hoops to WIAA Tourney

Spooner, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Drummond boys' basketball team advanced to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Division 5 tournament on Saturday with a 52-39 win over Clayton in the Sectional 1 championship.

The (24-2) Lumberjacks will now face (27-0) Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran in the WIAA semifinals, with that game set for 1:35 p.m. on March 7 at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis.
