Morgan Park, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth boy's swim team had the honor of shutting down the Morgan Park pool to high school competition on Thursday night as they hosted the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks.

Next season, the Duluth boy's and girl's swim teams will practice and compete at the new pool at Ordean East Middle School in Duluth.

The Thunderhawks spoiled the going away party for the Morgan Park pool, winning the meet by a 104-76 score.

Duluth, though, won the final three races in their now old home, including a 400-meter freestyle relay as the pool's last race.

The night doubled as senior night for the Duluth boys as the team honored Derek Jones, Jack Malban, and Joe Vecchi as the team's outgoing competitors.
