Esko Girls Repeat as True Team Champions

Stillwater, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Esko girl's track and field team repeated on Saturday as Class A True Team champions, finishing nearly 40 points ahead of the second place squad.

The Eskomos earned 465.5 points to capture a second consecutive True Team title, finishing ahead of the 426 points of Blue Earth.

It was the 26th year of the True Team event, in which all participants for every team are awarded points no matter of the finishing place.

The Esko boy's track and field team was also participating in the meet, finishing fourth.
