Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Esko-Carlton girls' soccer team beat Duluth Marshall 2-0 on Thursday afternoon, earning a shutout and road win over the Hilltoppers.
Hilary Anderson scored the game-winning goal in the first half for the Eskomos, and she also had an assist on the team's second goal.
Kadee Karkkainen was the other goal scorer for Esko-Carlton, helping the team improve to (7-4) this season.
Senior goalkeeper Emily Couture had 17 saves in the game for Duluth Marshall, which moves to (5-5-1) with the loss.
