Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Former Duluth East Greyhounds forward Trevor Olson has committed to play his college hockey at the Division I level with the University of North Dakota, he announced via Twitter on Wednesday morning.

"Proud to announce that I have committed and will be playing my college hockey at the University of North Dakota!" Olson wrote.

Olson was traded earlier this 2012-13 season from Green Bay to Sioux City in the United States Hockey League (USHL). He's played a total of 61 games, recording 46 points on 16 goals and 30 assists.

His senior season with the Greyhounds, Olson scored 11 goals and had 24 assists to help Duluth East reach the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class AA tournament.
