FDL Ojibwe Falls in Class A Semifinals

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Fond du Lac Ojibwe boys' basketball team saw its championship hopes come to an end on Friday afternoon, falling 76-58 to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa in the MSHSL Class A semifinals at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

Davonte Williamson led the Ogichidaag with 18 points and eight rebounds in the losing effort, while Dexter Delille had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, had two players score 20-plus points as Brian Goodwin finished with 25 and Bill Borgerding had 21.

Fond du Lac Ojibwe is now (24-4) this season and will play either Maranatha Christian Academy or Rushford-Peterson for third place, with that game scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Concordia-St. Paul University.
