Floodwood Loses in Consolation Championship

Chaska, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Wabasha-Kellogg used a two-run fourth inning to beat Floodwood 2-0 and win the consolation championship at the MSHSL Class A baseball tournament at the Chaska Athletic Park in Chaska, Minn.

Jethro Roemer started off the scoring for the Falcons with an RBI single in the fourth. Ryan Wolfe also knocked in a run for Wabasha-Kellogg.

Ross Schminski pitched a complete game for the Polar Bears, giving up two runs on three hits while striking out three.

Floodwood finished the season at 18-4.
