Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth East girl's basketball team and the Duluth Denfeld boy's basketball team took very different paths to their victories on Tuesday night.

The Greyhounds used a strong second half run to edge Superior 50-48 at home while the Hunters dominated throughout, beating Proctor 79-30 at home.

Hailey Kontny led the Spartans with 21 points, and Jessica Lindstrom added 19 as Superior saw a 10-point lead disappear in the second half.

For the Hunters, they saw several players in double digits as they drubbed the Rails in front of their home fans at Duluth Denfeld.
