Hietala, Lumberjacks Beat Northern Stars

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Cloquet-Esko-Carlton girls' hockey junior goaltender Sydnee Hietala stopped 30 of 32 shots as the Lumberjacks beat the Duluth Northern Stars 4-2 on Thursday night at the Heritage Sports Center.

The Lumberjacks had four different goal scorers: Kailey Buhr, Cassandra Inman, Jade Alvillar, and Rachel Macaulay. The Northern Stars led 2-1 after one before CEC rallied off three unanswered goals.

CEC improves to (5-14-2) while the Northern Stars fall below .500 at (10-11-1).
