Hilltoppers Open Practice, Eye State Return

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- With seven starters returning from his 2012 squad that won the Section 7A championship, Duluth Marshall boys' soccer coach Mike Sengbush is hoping for a repeat state tournament performance for the Hilltoppers this fall.

That goal, however, comes first with some growing pains from his players as to what's expected of them.

"What we're trying to teach and coach is maybe a little different style than what we're used to seeing up here," Sengbush said, "so it takes some time to break these guys of some habits and get them playing the type of soccer we want to play."

The Hilltoppers finished third in the MSHSL Class A tournament in 2012, with that team posting an overall record of (12-6-4).
