Hilltoppers Take Section 7A Tennis Title

Hibbing, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth Marshall boy's tennis team is off to the MSHSL Class A state tournament, that after winning the Section 7A championship on Saturday.

The Hilltoppers defeated Aitkin 4-3 in the semifinals before beating Virginia 7-0 in the section title match.

Duluth Marshall will begin state tournament play on June 5 at 8:00 a.m. against the champion of Section 5A.

Virginia had defeated Hermantown 4-3 in the Section 7A semifinals to earn a spot in the section championship.
