Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth East girls' soccer team dropped its opening game at the school's new field, falling in penalty kicks to Woodbury in a first-round game of a four-team high school tournament.
The Greyhounds played Woodbury to a 1-1 tie in regulation, but fell 4-3 in penalties to just miss a chance to play for the tournament title. The team will, instead, play Cretin-Derham Hall in the third place game on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
