'Hounds Edge 'Jacks, Sweep Season Series

Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The #3-ranked Duluth East boys' hockey team battled back from a 2-0 deficit in the first period to beat #16-ranked Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 3-2 at Northwoods Credit Union Arena on Monday night.

Ryan Lundgren and Meirs Moore scored first period goals for the Greyhounds, and Alex Toscano tallied the eventual game winner midway through the second.

Tanner Robideaux and Beau Michaud were the goal scorers for the Lumberjacks, with both those goals coming in the first period.

Duluth East improves to (18-4-0) with the victory, and Cloquet-Esko-Carlton is now (12-7-2) after the loss.
