'Hounds Lose in Class AA Consolation Title

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Evan Little and Phil Beaulieu each scored for the Duluth East boys' hockey team but Roseau notched the game-winner in the third period to beat the Greyhounds 3-2 in the MSHSL Class AA consolation championship on Saturday.

The Rams jumped out to a one-goal lead before Little responded for the Greyhounds to knot things up at 1-1. Beaulieu's goal put Duluth East up 2-1 after the first before Roseau rallied with a goal in the second and third periods.

Gunnar Howg finished with 25 saves in net for the Greyhounds. Duluth East finishes the season at (22-8-1).
