'Hounds, Hawks Stay Atop Minnesota High School Hockey Polls

(Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth East boy's hockey team and the Hermantown boy's hockey team remained atop the state rankings this week, with the Greyhounds #1 in Class AA and the Hawks #1 in Class A.

Both teams won on Monday night while playing at AMSOIL Arena, with Hermantown beating Duluth Denfeld 7-0 and Duluth East knocking off Cloquet-Esko-Carlton by a 5-2 score.

The Hawks are the last unbeaten team in the state at (22-0) overall, and the Greyhounds have suffered only one loss this year and sit at (21-1) overall.
