'Hounds, Rails, and 'Toppers Win on the Pitch

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth East boys' soccer team cruised by Duluth Denfeld, 11-0 while in girls' action Proctor beat Denfeld, 1-0, and Duluth Marshall snuck by Cloquet-Carlton, 3-2 in overtime in high school soccer action Thursday.

The 'Hounds scored five first half goals en route to beating the Hunters, 11-0.

At Public Schools Stadium, Lexie DeWall scored the lone goal of the game for the Rails, and Kassie Haedtke pitched a shutout for Proctor in the win.

The Hilltoppers and Lumberjacks were knotted at two before Duluth Marshall scored the game-winner in overtime.
