Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth East girls' tennis team opened the 2014 season with a pair of wins on Wednesday, beating Hermantown 5-2 and Duluth Marshall 7-0 at Duluth Central High School.

The Greyhounds are playing the first couple weeks of the season at the old school due to construction at Longview Tennis Courts, but head coach Lee Kruger hopes to be back at his team's real home sometime this fall.

Duluth East went to the MSHSL Class AA tournament last season for the first time since 1999 and return six of seven starters from that squad.
