Howg, No. 8 'Hounds Shutout the Spartans

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 8 Duluth East boys' hockey team used two goals from Jack Kolar and 11 saves from Gunnar Howg en route to shutting out Superior 7-0 on Wednesday night at Wessman Arena in a bridge battle game.

Howg posted the shutout for the Greyhounds while Nick Altmann, Joey Marinac, Ash Altmann, Phil Beaulieu, and Maysen Rust all scored for Duluth East.

With the win, the Greyhounds improve to (17-6-1) and have now won three straight.
