Hunters Survive Scare, Advance in 7A Playoffs

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth Denfeld boy's soccer team fell behind early Thursday night in their first playoff game, but rallied to score three straight and advance in the section playoffs.

Eveleth-Gilbert scored less than three minutes into the first half, but the Hunters capitalized on a penalty kick to send the game 1-1 to halftime.

In the second half, Duluth Denfeld calmed down and scored the only two goals, resulting in a 3-1 win, meaning they will play Cloquet on Saturday in the section quarterfinals.
