Hunters, T'Hawks Earn Wins on the Hardwood

(Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Duluth Denfeld and Grand Rapids boy's basketball teams each earned wins on Tuesday night, with the Hunters topping Cambridge-Isanti and the Thunderhawks beating Northwestern.

Derek Meger led Duluth Denfeld with 38 points in their 92-70 home win over the the Bluejackets, improving the Hunters to (9-2) this season.

The Thunderhawks, meanwhile, were led by Alex Illikainen's 18 points and Mike Spoden's 10 in their 47-35 win over the Tigers.

Northwestern saw no player reach double digits in scoring, but were led by the nine points of Nolan Graff in the game.
