Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Samantha Argir scored her first goal of the season on Thursday afternoon for the Hibbing-Chisholm girls' hockey team, with that tally acting as the game winner in the Bluejackets' 2-1 victory over New Ulm.
The game was a consolation semifinal at the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class A tournament, with the victory moving Hibbing-Chisholm now into the consolation championship.
Jacque Laliberte scored the only other goal for the Bluejackets in the winning effort, and Amanda Klennert made 11 saves in goal.
Hibbing-Chisholm will now face Mound Westonka in the MSHSL Class A consolation championship, with that game set for 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 23 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis.
