Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Shara Jasper's overtime goal sent the UMD women's hockey team into the WCHA Final Face-Off and kept alive the Bulldogs' NCAA tournament hopes.

Jasper scored a little less than 10 minutes into overtime on Saturday afternoon to give UMD a 3-2 win over Ohio State, completing a two-game sweep of the Buckeyes in the first round of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) playoffs.

Haley Irwin scored two first period goals in the winning effort for the Bulldogs, who will play host to the WCHA Final Face-Off March 2 and 3 at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth.
