Kunze Resigns as Duluth East Basketball Coach

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Bill Kunze handed in his resignation on Tuesday as coach of the Duluth East girl's basketball team, ending his tenure there after six seasons.

Kunze, the 2012 Section 7AAAA coach of the year, helped the Greyhounds this past season to the team's first state tournament since 2003.

He amassed a record of (102-63) during his time as head coach of the Duluth East girls, and will next year serve as an assistant volleyball coach for the Greyhounds.
