Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Lakeview Christian Academy and Cherry will meet for this year's Section 7A boys' basketball championship, that after each those squads won semifinal games on Wednesday night at Romano Gymnasium in Duluth, Minn.
Bjorn Broman led the top-seeded Lions with 27 in their 85-71 win over Ely, with Mark Chiu pitching in with 19. Ely spent much of the game double-teaming the state's all-time leading scorer, Anders Broman, who finished with 17 points and eight assists for Lakeview Christian Academy.
Cherry, meanwhile, was led by seniors Jordan Parenteau and Austin Kowarsh, who combined for 33 points in the Tigers' 56-48 win over Chisholm.
Lakeview Christian Academy and Cherry will now meet for the Section 7A championship, with that game set for 7:00 p.m. on March 15 at Romano Gymnasium.
