FINAL RESULTS: 2012 USHL Entry Draft

(Northland's NewsCenter) --- Six players from the Northland were selected Tuesday in the 2012 United States Hockey League (USHL) Entry Draft, with three going to the same team.

Duluth Marshall's Judd Peterson was the first to go, being selected 16th overall by Cedar Rapids.

He was followed by Hermantown's Jared Kolquist and Neal Pionk, who were taken 65th and 66th respectively by Sioux City.

Another Hermantown player followed those two, with Jake Zeleznikar being selected 232nd overall by Sioux Falls.

Duluth East's Meirs Moore then became the third future Musketeer player, being taken 246th overall by Sioux City.

Ryan Gotelaere of Duluth Marshall rounded out the Northland selections, being taken 265th overall by Waterloo.

There were 210 players taken in total during Tuesday's USHL Entry Draft. 118 of them were forwards, 73 were defenseman, and 19 were goaltenders.
