Roseville, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- After winning shootouts in both the Section 7A semifinal and final, the Cloquet girls' soccer team was done in by the shootout on Thursday night in the Class A quarterfinals.
Totino-Grace played Cloquet scoreless through regulation and two overtimes, and it was the Eagles winning the shootout by a 5-4 score.
Senior goalkeeper Kenize Rathe made nine saves for the Lumberjacks in the losing effort, that as Cloquet was outshot 21-8 in the contest.
Cloquet finishes the season with a (12-6-3) overall record.
