Lumberjacks' Kuhlman Verbally Commits to UMD

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Cloquet-Esko-Carlton (C-E-C) junior Karson Kuhlman has verbally committed to play his college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, C-E-C head coach Dave Esse confirmed to the Northland's NewsCenter on Tuesday.

Kuhlman also announced the news via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, with the news coming ahead of his junior season with the Lumberjacks in the 2012-13 year.

The future Bulldog totaled 27 goals and 28 assists for the Lumberjacks during his sophomore season, with those 55 points leading the C-E-C team.

Kuhlman also played this past summer on the United State Under-18 Select team, particiapting in the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
