Cloquet, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Cloquet-Esko-Carlton forward Karson Kuhlman has been named to the United States Under-18 Select team, it was announced on Tuesday.
Kuhlman is one of 22 players to be named to the team, which will play in the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in August.
The Lumberjacks' junior had 27 goals and 28 assists during his sophomore campaign of 2011-12, his 55 points marking the highest total on the team.
Kuhlman and the United States will start play on August 13 in the international tourmament, with the medal round games scheduled to be played August 18.
