St. Paul (Northland's NewsCenter) - The MIB Rangers rebounded from a rough semifinal, to take home the Class A Third Place trophy. The Rangers knocked off Hancock 61-45, at the MN State Girls Baskeball Tournament. The game was played on the Concordia campus.
MIB was led by senior Charlotte Overbye, who scored a game-high 21 points, after being held to just two on Friday. Overbye finished with 21 points and 8 rebounds, while Kathy Ostman had 15 points and 9 rebounds. The largest lead the Rangers had was an 18-point cushion. MIB finished the year at (28-4).
