Mesabi East's West Signs with D1 SDSU

Aurora, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Mesabi East senior Megan West has signed a national letter of intent to run Division I track and cross country at South Dakota State University (SDSU), that according to our news partners at the Mesabi Daily News.

West has competed in a total of nine state meets across the two sports, five in cross country and four more in track.

The 18-year-old joins Esko senior Marisa Shady as Northland senior runners to commit to SDSU, with Lakeview Christian Academy senior Anders Broman also committed to play basketball for the Jackrabbits.

West plans on majoring in dietetics and nutrition at SDSU and will head out to campus for preseason training this July.
