No. 2 Hawks Win in Regular Season Finale

Hermantown, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The No. 2 Hermantown boys' hockey team wrapped up their regular season in convincing fashion on Friday night with a 5-2 win over Hibbing-Chisholm thanks to two goals from Scott Wasbotten and Nate Pionk.

Wasbotten put the Hawks up by two goals after the first period, and the home team never looked back. Ty Birdsall and Dylan Pechovnik were the goal-scorers for the Bluejackets.

Hermantown finishes the regular season (19-4-2) while Hibbing wraps up their season at (10-13-1). Section 7A seedings are expected to be announced on Saturday.
