Northern Stars Fall to No. 9 White Hawks

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth girls' hockey team outshot No. 9-ranked Mound Westonka 44-13 on Friday night at the Heritage Sports Center, but the final score read 2-1 in favor of the visiting White Hawks.

Callie Hoff scored the Northern Stars' lone goal late in the first period to tie the game at 1-1, but the White Hawks scored in the first minute of the second period to take the lead for good.

Kalei Keive made 11 saves in goal for Duluth but was charged with the loss in goal.
