Minong, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Green Bay Packers have named Northwood football coach Brian Trettin the state's coach of the week, after leading his team to a first-ever win over Shell Lake.
The Evergreens are off to a (4-1) start, having reeled off four straight wins since losing the season opener.
Trettin is a 2001 high school graduate of Superior, and earned his program a $2,000 donation with the award.
His Evergreens are back at home this Friday, playing host to Birchwood.
