Proctor-Hermantown Claims Consolation Crown

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Proctor-Hermantown girls' hockey team capped their 2013-14 campaign on Saturday afternoon with a 4-1 win over Alexandria in the consolation championship at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis.

Sophmore Sophie McGovern scored twice for the Mirage while Brielle Larson and Reilly Fawcett each added a goal. Senior Kylie Hommerding stopped 18 of the 19 shots she faced in net for P-H.

Proctor-Hermantown finishes the season at (20-10-0). After the game, senior captain Fawcett also earned the Herb Brooks Sportsmanship Award for Class A.
