Rails Notch Back-to-Back State Tourney Trips

Hermantown, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Proctor baseball team earned a second straight state tournament appearance on Thursday, beating Cloquet 9-2 in the Section 7AA championship.

The Rails didn't lose a game in the section playoffs, including beating both #1 seeds in Cloquet and Hermantown along the way.

Proctor will now open its state tournament with a game against the winner of Section 4, with that game set for June 14 at 3:00 p.m. in St. Cloud.
