Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The Superior boys' hockey team jumped out to a four-goal lead until Proctor mustered two goals of their own, but the Spartans hung on to beat the Rails 5-2 on Friday night at Wessman Arena.

The Spartans scored four first-period goals before Christian Ripley made it a three-goal game for the Rails. Ripley added another goal in the second to cut the deficit to two but that's as close as Proctor would get.
