Rails Upset Unbeaten Millers in Class AA Tourney

St. Cloud, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- The Proctor baseball team defeated a previously unbeaten Minneapolis Washburn team on Thursday night, winning 1-0 in the MSHSL Class AA quarterfinals.

Ian Scherber hit a solo home run in the sixth inning to account for the game's only run, and Jake Lewis pitched seven scoreless innings in the winning effort.

Proctor improves to (18-6) this season and now moves on to take on St. Cloud Cathedral in the Class AA semifinals. That game is set for 2:30 p.m. on Friday in St. Cloud.
