Randolph Hits 500 as 'Hounds Top Lumberjacks

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth East head boys' hockey coach reached career win number 500 on Thursday night as his #6-ranked Greyhounds beat #16-ranked Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 5-2 at the Heritage Sports Center.

This is Randolph's 26th season behind the bench, with 25 of those years coming with Duluth East and the other coming with Duluth Cathedral.

Hogan Davidson scored three goals, with Jack Forbort and Ryan Lundgren each adding a goal of their own in the winning effort for Duluth East.

Drew Dincau and Westin Michaud were the goal scorers for Cloquet-Esko-Carlton in the loss.

The Greyhounds improve to (3-1) this season while the Lumberjacks fall to (4-3).
